Our Story
In Modern Era Japan, many kimono fabrics are tucked away and sleeping for a long time. They are gorgeous and deserve to show their beauty. That’s why we embarked on this journey to send as many beautiful handbags as we can to the world. Why Himé? We chose the name Himé as it means “princess” in Japanese. It is also used as a term of affection for girls and young ladies in Japan, such as those who wore kimonos, until recently.
